On August 26th, 120Water hosted a working session on the Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) for water systems. We focused on the milestones that matter most: the 11/1/2027 compliance-date cluster, the annual reporting rhythm that follows, and the requirements that hinge on your system type.

During the session, we:

  • Discussed a new 120Water resource, LCRI Compliance Tracker, that will be available for download so attendees leave with a tool to track what's due when.
  • Heard from Evanston, IL on their experience implementing various state requirements in advance of the LCRI compliance deadline.
  • Demoed new features of 120Water’s fit-for-purpose LCRI software, Public Water System Platform, that helps water systems manage and track their LCRI journey.
